What you can expect from the Northsider Running Group:

  • Fun
  • Running
  • All are welcome to come and join in
  • We look forward to having a range of athletes come and participated from the speed walkers to elite
  • The workouts will change week to week.  Keep you eyes peeled on the weekly email to get a sense for what the workout will be

Whitworth Wednesdays  (track workouts)

  • Run will start 6:30am Wednesday mornings at the touch down Jesus statue next to the Whitworth Track.  The hope is to be done 7:15am with the option of grabbing coffee/pastry at Petit Chat.
  • Join in the workout of the day, do your own thing and grind alongside those following the workout recipe, and cheer on your fellow runners!
  • This weeks recipe:
    • NoviceIntermediate, and Advanced option (designated N, I, and A) to make the workouts approachable for various folks.
      • 400 warm up/Cool down. Run all at 5k pace. 2 minutes recovery in between
      • N - 2 x 1600m
      • I - 4 x 1600m
      • A - 6 x 1600m
